There are people that may not be too easy on the eye, yet wherever they go they attract people simply because they are confident and outgoing. By pure instinct humans are attracted to outgoing people. Those who lead from the front and take control usually have followers that are easily guided. Alpha personalities are often the instigators of a given situation and exude sex appeal simply by leading by example.

Confident men and women don’t usually have problems attracting romantic interest. One of the biggest issues many men and women face is finding the courage to approach other singles for conversation. Overcoming shyness and having the ability to engage other people is one of the biggest hurdles people need to address in order to become successful in the land of love.

Start increasing your own self confidence by trusting in your own strengths. No one is going to place their faith in you if you don’t believe in your own powers. And that’s what becoming a confident person brings – power!

When we lack confidence, it’s pretty hard to see the appealing qualities within ourselves. However, this is something we need to bring out in order to showcase who we are and what we can offer.  Starting out to better yourself doesn’t take a lot of work. By taking simple steps to become a happy, smiling person in your day to day activities, you will become a more approachable person and people will be far more accomodating.

We know that it’s a lot easier to find solutions to building self confidence by simply writing those solutions down as opposed to actually putting these suggestions into practice. That’s why dating sites are a great way to get back into the singles dating scene. You can just browse the profiles or check out the chat rooms without even having to participate until you find your way around this tricky terrain. More than 40 million American singles are currently registered for online dating so see what you’re missing!

Before you start your new campaign to find the new you, consider how worse off other people are than you so you can see that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Think yourself lucky for what you have, aspire to be successful such as role models you look up to and don’t be afraid to go after something you want.

What is the value of the following article? The re-patterning exercises and information can change your life, your feelings or your fear and your attitude if you are willing. Be willing, is the key to your success. How do I know, because this how I overcame many challenges in my life. Overcoming challenges will raise your self-esteem.

WHAT IS EDU-K?

Educational Kinesiology teaches specific movements of the body that can improve mind function. It uses techniques such as re-patterning, which is the integration of the left and right hemispheres of the brain through specific movements; stress release techniques; and balancing the energy/meridian system of the body.

The two brain gym exercises I want to share are renamed from emotional stress release points from Touch for Health to Dr. Paul Dennison’s Positive Points & Cook’s Hook Up, and now I will rename them “Change Your Feelings Points” and “Connect Your Energy Circuits”.

“Change Your Feelings Points”

1. Take a break for 3 minutes and go where it is quiet.
2. Close your eyes and look upward at a point between your eyebrows and tell yourself to relax.
3. Lightly hold the points about an inch above your eyebrows for 1-3 minutes.

These points bring gentle energy to your frontal lobes where rational thought is available without emotional distractions. These are the neurovascular balance spots for the stomach meridian in Chinese Medicine. Thus the tension you experience is eased and decreases a nervous stomach.
“Connect Your Energy Circuits”

1. Sit in a chair and study the illustration on my blog.
2. Cross your left leg over your right leg so that the ankle is over your right knee.
3. You grasp your left ankle with your right hand.
4. You put your left hand around the ball of your left foot.
5. You sit in this position, taking 3 deep into your belly breaths. You put your tongue against the roof of your mouth on inhalation. Relax the tongue as you exhale.
6. After 3 minutes uncross your legs
7. You can let the finger tips of your hands touch together.
8. You can continue to breathe deeply and exhale twice as long as you inhale.
9. If you are more comfortable to begin put your right leg over left leg and so on-

This was invented by Wayne Cook, an expert in electromagnetic energy and enables you to activate all the Chinese acupuncture meridians into a more balance and harmonized state. As Dr. Paul Dennison wrote “Excessive energy to the receptive (right or back) brain can manifest as depression, pain, fatigue, or hyperactivity.” This figure eight pattern that the body makes when doing this exercise; is a benefit to transform the emotional stress and help learning difficulties.

Personally, I have consistently used these exercises after attending one of the original seminars in the early 80’s. I have had amazing breakthroughs myself and so have my daughters along with many others that I have helped in my clinical private practice. Thus, I urge you to do them and do them consistently each day. You can look at it adopting an attitude that it is like playing. So have some fun with these two life changing exercises.

Finding a balance between the material and spiritual aspects of our lives can be a daunting task. Our perceptions of self-worth and self-meaning are caught up in a society defined by power, money, and influence. Developing spiritually can be achieved by occasionally taking a look at the choices you make, the relationships you have, your encounters, and the events you take on. To mature spiritually is to gaze within. It will give you insight on your life goals, on the good characteristics that you should maintain and the bad characteristics you should stop. To grow spiritually is to utilize your capabilities. The requirements of the spirit are given more merit than physical wishes. To grow spiritually is to seek purpose. Whether you believe that life’s value is self-directed or fate, to grow in spirit is to recognize that you do not merely live. Your life has purpose. This purpose keeps you going during trying times, and gives you a goal to attain. At birth, you do not understand the purpose of life. You acquire intelligence from your experiences with people and from the way you handle situations you are in. To grow spiritually is to acknowledge that all things are connected. You will turn out to be more humble. You will be more considerate of people, plants, animals, and things in nature. It causes you to get out of your comfort zone and connect with other people. It makes you cherish all that is around you.

In today’s rapid paced and always on the go world, people are disregarding the real meaning of their life. They are to busy acquiring meaningless material goods that are only temporary at best.  Everything in this world is, according to Buddhists, temporary.   From materialistic desires, to body, to soul, to even stars and heavenly bodies, are here, in this world, for a limited time.   Also prevalent in the human life is this impermanence.  Any kind of attachment or looking forward to anything is pointless and insignificant.  It will lead to nothing. It is fruitless and meaningless due to your having no control over what happens.  A spiritual awakening is the key.

By the same token, to obtain yourself again, it is very important to get yourself out of this abhorrent circle of poisons or kilesa. Buddha is teaching bodhi or enlightenment, the highest form of satisfaction that a person can attain in his or her life. However, happiness has a different attribute than the word brings to mind. It does not refer to the conventional happiness that we bring to a successful conclusion in day-to-day life but it means the transcendental kind of happiness or the true nirvana that leads to the obtaining of your true hidden self.

Using yoga and meditation are given due consideration as one of the best ways through which one can find his or her essential nature. Meditation is the stepping-stone through which you can clue one in on with your self-consciousness by deliberating on a formation of mental objects through your perception.   In meditation, basically one has to home in on that divine power and try to recover the hidden and true meaning of your life. However, the most important concern that you must keep in mind is to find inner peace and pure sanity that can be attained only if you have a positive frame of mind towards life.  Aroma therapy is the treatment or prevention of disease by use of essential oils.  Two rudimentary components are used to account for the described effects.  One is the predisposition of aroma on the brain, particularly the limbic system through the olfactory system.  The other is the unequivocal pharmacological effects of the essential oils.  Some preliminary clinical studies demonstrate categorical effects.  It would be premature to make absolute statements.
